I’ve been working a project to treat races sort of like compendium classes and the first four drafts are ready. Anyone interested in taking a look at them and providing feedback? FYI, the first bunch consists of human, elf, halfling, and dwarf (the classics).

I’ll wait a few days to give people a chance to see this post before I send out the links.

  1. Sounds like racial Paragon classes/kits from the 2e “Complete [Races]” line. Remember those softcovers?

So… the race-as-Class moves won’t be available until at least second level? Compendium classes usually some in-fiction experience by the characters.

  2. Matthew G. I looked at some of the 2e race kits for inspiration actually. 🙂

It is like compendium classes for lack of a better term, but there are differences. The only condition to meet is that you are said race. The sheets include some alternate level 1 racial moves to choose from (as opposed to what may be on your class sheet), then there are four 2-5 moves, and four 6-10 moves. There are also sections with more names, look options, and an extra gear choice.
