I admit I didn’t love Patreon.
I mean, I get it, small fees from tons of internet people adds up to a potentially decent revenue stream for creative types, but I generally equated it to the rumored “subscription model” for the Windows OS. You end up paying 17 bajillion dollars for something that used to have one fixed price.
That said, one dude has changed my mind. Johnstone Metzger is doing amazing shit for both Dungeon World and Labyrinth Lord. For a few bucks a month I get creative, well-designed and professional-looking content? Sign me up!
