I’m trying to find rules for spell research that I swear I saw in Freebooters of the Frontier, but now I can’t find it. It involved easier research if the new spell had words in common with spells the character already knew. Does this ring a bell for anyone and can you point me to what I’m thinking of?

And “Arcane Research” also has a step in it for this
Sorcerer let’s you create a spell on the fly. Arcane Research let’s you research a new spell and inscribe it in your spellbook. This is exactly what I want. Best spell research system I’ve run into.
