Having just read Dungeon World and Monsterhearts, am sorely tempted to write a game called “Hack, Slash, Love”.

  1. Does Monsterhearts have much advice in the way of hacking the system? The Advanced Delving chapter of DW just isn’t enough for me.

  2. Aaron Griffin I saw Dungeonhearts as that was my original title, but that sort of goes the opposite way to what I was thinking by adding dungeon crawling to Monsterhearts, whereas I was thinking of adding romance and sex to Dungeon World, which is way more different than that sounds…

  3. Oli Jeffery PDF =! Print.

Also, I don’t really like the idea of having to sign up for nothing but an otherwise freely available download.

  4. Nathan V Ha, I guess not. I just think of “in print” as legally available. Every RPG I’ve bought for the past couple of years has been PDF only, because I’ve run out of shelves…

  5. “adding romance and sex to Dungeon World”

See, that’s the beauty of Dungeon World, you’ve got all you need already:

    Defy Danger

    Parley

    Carouse

You just have to define your dangers, leverage, and objectives, respectively.
