Nice. Very original.
Original indeed. It has so many levels to it.
Do the pole saying “Very original” not know that this a direct adaptation of a forgotten D&D monster?
Still a gem though.
Doctor Starky If I haven’t seen it, it’s new to me!
Same, I haven’t seen it and its quite the spectacular monster. Perhaps its not original, few things are anymore.
I mean, it’s a pretty obscure monster. You’d be forgiven for thinking it was original. http://www.bogleech.com/dnd/forgotten.html
And I don’t think there is anything wrong with adapting forgotten d&d monsters for dungeon world either. OP has excellent taste in vintage monsters.
Doctor Starky Agreed. Its started off in White Dwarf 9, the UK version of Dragon Magazine in a famous little British Dungeon called the Licheway, which also inspired Death Frost Doom.
