I love The Final Girl but I can´t see any connection to DW. If you want to play a funnel you would want a) to have PCs that can become 1st level DW characters and b) more than one PC potentially surviving the funnel: In The Final Girl the alternative is either 1 or 0 characters surviving. If you want to play monsters Goblin World or Numbers appearing seems to be the more obvious choice.
Having said that: You should check out The Final Girl regardless especially if you want to introduce RPGs to your non gamer friends in a two hour time slot.
I’m skeptical of using it to run a proper funnel, but I think using it as an interlude session to set up a dungeon is a pretty rad idea. You could even have the survivor turn up as an NPC in the DW game. It would add an element of lore and familiarity, and you could do some great call backs.
The idea I wanted to convey but may not have gotten out entirely was that you are creating a dungeon and a potential “big bad” collaboratively. The final girl characters should be villagers or maybe even competent adventurers that are falling before these traps and creature/creatures. I haven’t tried it, but think it’s got potential
