Hi Jason Lutes , just wondering if you plan to release a compendium of your works eventually. Something that would contain Perilous wilds, Freebooters and Funnel world all in a tight integrated little package. Maybe something that wouldn’t require Dungeon World at all…

Thanks for the great writing!

  1. Hi Frederic Oriol,  apologies for missing this post until now. For 2016 I have a couple of projects lined up by other authors that are not directly related to the Perilous stuff. The next big project authored by me will probably be a self-contained *World RPG, and I have to make a decision between 3 different ideas, all of which are currently in some stage of early development.

One of those ideas is a sort of Freebooters Complete or Advanced Freebooters, for which I would combine/rewrite Funnel World, Freebooters, and some of the Perilous Wilds stuff into one coherent game (+ more extensive monster, treasure, and town rules).

In any case, at some point I will post a poll here about the 3 game concepts, and ask people to vote on which of the 3 they’d like to see most.

Aaron Griffin,  I like the idea of a collection of all the Perilous stuff, but it doesn’t make a lot of sense financially for me to do a nice offset print run of the combined books. I don’t think the demand is there. I might consider doing some sort of PoD thing down the road, though!

  2. Jason Lutes I’m still mulling over ordering a PW copy from you (if they’re still available), but would totally buy a combined edition too if you do plan on doing that.

  3. That’s very good news Jason Lutes. Perilous World would be awesome. The only difficulty I see (and that DCC struggles with just the same) is having a good transition between the villager (a.k.a. funnel meat) and the class within the fiction.
