I’ve added some content to my sci-fi game since I posted it in here. Check out the “Frontier Space” doc if you’re interested in a deadlier campaign with less powerful characters and a sort of space western feel to it, but be warned that it’s only barely been playtested.

Haven’t looked through all of your game yet, but here are two AW hacks you might be interested in looking at with similar settings.

Harrison s Interesting. I might take a closer look at those later.
My intention with the setting was to create a sort of blank slate that the players and GM can build off of collaboratively, which is most obvious when looking at the race system. So it throws in a bunch of common space opera tropes, but gives you a lot of breathing room to do whatever you want with them. No space wizards, though.
Wow. I really like this stuff. Sort of wish I’d known about it two months ago before I made my own scifi hack, the results of which were weirdly similar…
Jarrah James Thanks. Tell me how it goes if you decide to play with it.
Have you posted your hack? I’d be interested in taking a look.
Bruce Linck I haven’t posted my most recent version, thus far. However, I’ll put it here for comparison: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ni5awo2vvmu35wv/AABYdKdOgwJ5Hk6tWoGWmdhla?dl=0
Jarrah James Not bad! I took a quick skim through the playbooks. We did come pretty close on the Bounty Hunter and the Technician/Scientist. Not too surprised, though.
Jarrah James Indeed. I’m going to steal the
‘what do you wish to share with me?’ for another move.
