Hey all,
Due to a pot of coffee I made a new class. Well it’s more so a port of the D&D 4e warlord, but darn’it I think it’s cool.
I’d like to get some feedback on this before I start working on putting it together on a proper playbook/class sheet. Any takers?
Added a fair number of comments.
I’ve just wrestled with my own warlord-type character, and found that it’s tough to make a leader class that stays rooted in the fictional circumstances. It’s a particularly easy design space to fall back on +1 forward/+1 armor/+x damage/etc. without integrating the fiction. You want to do things that let you change the environment or command others, but can’t fall back on “magic” because they’re doing it by force of personality. It’s tough.
Anyhow, if you’re interested in what I did, check out the marshal:

Thanks Jeremy. I’ll check out your Marshal when I’m done with this. I find my mind goes to others ideas really quick when I’m trying to design.
