Glad you like it. Not my original post but it’s a great inspiration tool.
You can use other decks as well, such as the tooldeck or small Heroes.
we do something like this on our podcast occasionally. We call it Synergy. We’ll open a pack of cards and make an adventure or scenario from them. If you’re interested in listening just search The Rpg Academy + Snyergy. I think we have 4 or 5 of those eps so far. I also guested on the DM’s Block Podcast and did one with them as well.
It’s a lot of fun and I think it really works. I wrote and ran a short adventure (City of the Damned) based on one of these sessions.
Seth Halbeisen I actually have the tool deck(s), but it’s less surprising that they work for this since that’s their purpose. I was just blindsided by the fact that there was this ENORMOUS library of fantasy locales, creatures, artifacts, characters, and magics that I was completely ignoring not for the last 22 years.
If there was a cyberpunk hack of dw i would totally do this with my netrunner cards!
