Took a page out of Dirk Detweiler Leichty ‘s book and have been doing some doodling of my own for my DW campaign.

These have a very clean, spare look. They are very distinctive and atmospheric. I think full colour would be gilding the lily.
Perhaps you might consider a little sepia tone, and perhaps spot colour in places?
Yes, colour, especially if used sparingly, might really bring them to life. Unfortunately, I use Patone markers by Letreset (a gift) and the pastel line is super pricey. Might be time for a trip to Michaels . . .
Any suggestions on the best way to share them or present them?
Please post individual pictures of these so that I can appreciate (/shamelessly steal) them better?
Rather than take up space here maybe whip up a little blog and display them there, individually?
AJ Ferguson Nah, just put them in an album and share that.
Good sir Dirk is about to run his first Dungeon World game for our gaming group and I am SUPER excited about it. I suspect I’ll be seeing some of these 🙂
Ben, sounds like a plan!
Amazing! I love the overhead 45 degree view
these are seriously cool
AJ Ferguson, I know this is almost unforgivably old-school, but watercolours? The drawings give me a feel of classic Chinese woodcuts.
In a good way, I mean!
Not quite watercolours, but Letraset Markers, the Patone line. Very nice if you are a lazy cartooner like me!
Have you tried the Pitt Pens AJ Ferguson? They have no alcohol, so they don’t ‘bleed’. Waterfast too.

Love it! Those mini map tiles are awesome
I’ll be looking for some Pitt Pens this weekend. Thanks for the felt tip.
