Hey everyone, I am working on a ‘faebook’ similar in style to this awesomeness, basically adding a bunch of playable Fae races and compendium classes to the game. I have pretty much everything I can think of covered but I was wondering, are there any Fae races you can think of I may not have covered? No suggestion is bad here 🙂

  1. So… Siddhe, Sluagh, Eshu, Domovoi and variations, Changeling(half-mortal half-fae), pixies, Red Caps, Trolls, Goblins, Beasts(like Beauty and the Beast), leprechauns, brownies. Also, Cu Sith.

So, how much points do you score?)

  2. I don’t think you need every fairy ever dreamt up, but I’d go for:

    Classes:

The Changeling (how does being half-fairy make you similar yet different from both?)

The Goblin (inspired by many stories, not just DnD)

The Fairest (fae queen to fairytale princess)

    The Trickster (the classic)

The Crafter (leprechaun shoemakers and Santa’s elves)

The Beast (talking animal, often a guide and guardian)

The Creeper (nice isn’t always pretty, good isn’t always kind, think riddle maker, lesson teacher fairies)

Be broad is my thought, that way you’ll end up with the richest classes.

  3. Compendium Class ideas:

Lord of Winter (Jack Frost and the rest, fairies with mischievous frosty powers are common in tales)

Bringer of Spring (likewise, making a place new is a fairy thing, think rebirth, growing, flowers, healing and such)

Death Fae (name needed, but I think Banshee would make a good CC, then you can give it some real punch to do with dealing with the dead)
