Ever wanted to play a hireling?
Inspired by, but different from, Funnel World townsfolk.

This is hilarious and I love it. A Million of Them is just perfect.
This is absolutely brilliant, and the first custom playbook I’m seriously considering introducing to my players. It really is a role that’s in almost every adventure story, but almost no RPGs. The big strong heroes need their Samwise Gamgee or their Sancho Panza or their John Watson to take up the rear and occasionally save their skins.
How nuts would it be to start a game with all of the players running this class!?!
If that sounds like an interesting idea, you should certainly take a look at Funnel World. It’s a short addition to the core rules that covers the tales of those simple folk who survived great dangers long enough to gain a level in something.
Awesome! Would liek to see these added to the look options: Forgettable eyes, non-descript hair, common clothing, average face
I can see Common Clothing, but I’m reluctant to add any descriptors that don’t give me a mental image. “Usual but evocative” is my goal.
