Amazing GMing!
I only wish the players would take it upon themselves to trigger some more moves though… spout something, discern some stuff!!!
Matthew Miller they were brand new to DW and Bee and Sharr are both brand new roleplayers!
Always good to see this not only with new players coming into the system or RPG in general, though also great that some of the developers are running the game. Great way to give people an idea on how the developers picture the game being run & how they might handle any sticky moments.
Can’t wait to hear the rest of them (just started part one few minutes ago), hope it goes well & everyone had a blast playing it.
That explains it! I need to watch the rest of the videos and see where it all goes. 🙂
Thanks for posting this Adam Koebel
.
. for later!
Just finishing up watching now. I wanted to see the players be a little more proactive too, but given a couple of them are completely new, they did really well!
The more people experiencing and enjoying roleplaying, the better. It’s also cool to see what players do in the absence of preconceptions or gaming habits.
Listening to a few episodes today has inspired me to buy the Dark Heart and (probably) have the PbP DW campaign I recently started GMing be devoured by Dis. Thanks! :-)
Matt Balara I did exactly that in a PBP game: Travelling from A to B when Langoliers-ish entropy monsters plow through the forest, roughing up the edges of that chunk of our adventurers’ plane so that it can be stitched to Dis.
Unfortunately (for Dis adventuring, at least) they didn’t press on toward the city. They did everything they could to wrench our reality away from the amalgam and return home to the Whispering Plains.
Interesting Shawn McCarthy. My players set out from a huge city, their home, into the woods, and I’m relatively certain they’ll return there after solving the current mystery. When they do, they may find only a little of their city left, the rest being Dis. Or something like that…
