So. . .tomorrow i’m going to be running Drunk Dungeon World. I won’t be getting drunk, but the players will.
I was planning on allowing them to get intoxicated at their own leisure, but if a player wanted the drinking to be tied to the dice rolls or mechanics, what would folks suggest?
Simple enough. Roll a 6-, mark XP take a drink.
Or when you roll a 10+. It’d slide the player behavior from “clever” to “sloppy” right quick.
Anytime someone rolls doubles – everyone takes a shot. Then it comes up on success and failures
Just do what other games do, tie it to CON rolls, have fun & don’t let the setting or drinking get out of control.
Play drunk Dread. Drink a shot and then pull a Jenga block.
Yeah, on a 6-, mark XP and take a drink; on a 12+, everyone takes a drink.
When you roll, take a drink. When someone else rolls, take a drink. When one of you drinks, take a drink.
Additionally, the whole premise makes assumption that players aren’t already drinking anyway.
I’ve outsmarted you!
There’s always Drinking Quest, too. Sorry I don’t have a link right now. Look it up
