  1. To make a move that wasn’t triggered by a player roll/action. To know things about the PCs that the PCs are trying to hide (“Hah, you’re not left-handed!”) Etc.

    Not 100% sure, as it hasn’t been fully playtested yet. But it’s basically the equivalent of “as your investigation proceeds clumsily, you tip your hand to the bad guys, and now they know you’re onto them.”
