Okay, this question is probably very stupid of me to ask, but I am finding no clues to it in the Dungeon World rulebook. Basically, when they say roll+(anything). What do you roll? A d10? Your base attack dice?

Okay, this question is probably very stupid of me to ask, but I am finding no clues to it in the Dungeon World rulebook. Basically, when they say roll+(anything). What do you roll? A d10? Your base attack dice?

It’s always 2d6 + stat modifier, AFAIK.
p17 – Moves and Dice – “Unless the move tells you otherwise, that “roll” always means that you roll two six-sided dice and add their results to the value of the modifier.”

When it says roll anything, it means you choose which stat, and describe natively in what way you use that attribute to attempt the action – defy danger, etc.
there is at least one class ability (barbarian) that lets you make one of those a d8, so d6+d8+STAT. But most of the time is it 2d6+stat.
