Hi all,
I was wondering about a new advanced move for the Fighter I’m currently playing (huge guy, very huge cestus, good hearth, many sons, loves destroy things with fighter base move which we use more broadly than it is written).
I took an advanced move from the “Brute” by James Hawthorne and changed a little bit (a lot actually).
Name: under review…any suggestion?
When you take damage during a fight, taste your blood and roll+COS: 10+ chose 2, 7-9 chose 1
a) +2 dmg vs the enemy that hit you (or +1 frwd)
b) give a killer look to enemies (or howl, or make the very angry hulk, anything that fit with your warrior);those who see you flinch and loose an action
c) your next attack has also the Stun property (and also deal damage)
Any suggestion?
I’m especially doubtful with the c).
Thanks in advance.
Hypotesis of C: you can use Bend Bar/ Lift Gates (BBLG) cause big collateral damage (e.g. make wall/floor collapse under enemies etc.) and affect your enemies.
NB: the BBLF, as written before, is used quite broadly in our game and not onlyfor obstacles.
NB2: we have set the game toward high-fantasy rather than low-fantasy.
Consider the Barbarian moves. They are along the line you are looking, and already written.
Oh, I like some Barbarian moves; I’ve taken “what are you waiting for?” and it’s great fun. The others are however linked to Barbarian urge or not fitting my taste for the character i’m playing (e.g. i’m not interested in the whole Conan-style moves of “what is it good in life”). Anyway, thanks!
“Oh No You Didn’t”?
“Nobody makes me bleed my own blood”! I forget if I used this as a Brute move name.
Yes, that’s the Brute name! Something like “You’d better killing me next time” could work or asimple V-for-Vendetta “my turn”
