Jeremy Strandberg the fantasy word generator is a great tool, but I do not have the skill to cleanly scale the word map to a regional size.

Marques Jordan Thanks, I may have been not clear, but I was referring to the geographical maps, not to dungeon maps.

Oh, have you checked out the Cartographer’s Guild? Folks put up all sorts of crazy awesome maps on there. I keep thinking it’d be a good idea to just take one, print it, throw it out on the table while the players are making characters, and start asking questions that link to places or regions on the maps.
