So, let’s say I’m a Ranger who wants to use a tomahawk and knife to fight. Since I have two weapons, that’s just handled in the fiction, right?
Or is there a tag I could put on one to show I’m using it to parry?

There’s a “Viper Strike” advanced move. And you can surely add your own weapons, with a”parry”, “off hand” or “2nd weapon” tag.
Chiming in to add that there’s no need for any “parry” tag. As Diego mentioned, Viper Strike represents the skill to strike effectively with both weapons. You can use two weapons if fictionally justified–but they don’t add extra damage without VS. If you get a 10+ and choose not to take damage, that’s your chance to describe your sweet parry move.
I suppose you could create a custom move for parry blades to add armor, but I don’t think that’s necessary.
Well having two weapons allows you different maneuvers then a single weapon. Like blocking a strike and still attacking, that might allow you to simply H&S someone who normally would require a Defy Danger to engange with first.
I’m not sure I agree, but that’s probably a table decision. You can’t block & strike with a shield after all–it’s still just H&S.
yeah. but you can raise your shield and walk up to crazy scimitar-dance guy and then whack him with your sword without exposing yourself to the sword-dance as you approach.
Fictional positioning my friend.
Possibly, yes!
doing the same thing with just your axe would either require to simply expose yourself to their damage first (if you just attack) or require a defy danger (probarbly Dex or Int) to step in in the right moment or (Str) whack their weapon out of the way or (Cha) to confuse/impress them enough to stop. (other possiblities work great too)
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I’ve always handled stuff like this at the table in a strictly narrative way, so I just wasn’t sure.
