roll, I’m pretty sure.
You roll for them but they don’t count towards daily allotment.
Check the trigger on Cast a Spell.
Rotes and Cantrips count as spells so casting them triggers the Cast A Spell move..
Also, with a 7-9 result, I let the player to forget the cantrip/rote until they have time again to study/pray.
