I really dig this – keeping a log of XP gained/spent can help tell the story of a character, at a glance. Thanks for sharing!
I find that it’s a really good practice for PbF games because everyone can see exactly what you’re getting XP for and it creates a pleasant log.

Ben Wray We usually do it at the end of a story arc. Not just a break in the fiction where you might make camp/bolster/level up but more so when a front is resolved and/or the group’s goal changes. This game is over a year old so it’s also, roughly, 1 session/season, which also fits with my usual approximation of 1 hour face-to-face = 1 month play by forum.
