All credit to Adam Koebel. I just finally saw that episode last weekend!
Walt is a perfect Barbarian. Outsider (by his disease, by his mindset) living within society who is driven by his mad passions and who funnels them into incredibly destructive acts.
…you’re just messing with me now, aren’t you? 🙂
Anyway, seen what the Move does, the name is fully appropriate!
Nikitas Thlimmenos not at all. Our Barbarian is a little more nuanced than “screaming berzerker”
That I noticed.
I missed the other steps that lead to Walt but, er, my bad I guess
The make-or-break moment for most of our classes is figuring out the character who doesn’t seem like they’d be that class, but totally is. Also a Barbarian? Robert Baratheon.
With Robert Baratheon I mostly agree, with the appetites and all. Not very outlandish himself but, yeah, looks the part.
The thing on Walter White just took me off guard (and that’s a good thing btw!) 🙂
Nikitas Thlimmenos Robert Baratheon (King of the Andals and the Royner and the First Men, first of his name) is an Outsider not of Westeros in general but of the high society of Kings Landing and the world of nobles and courtly dealings. He’s a simple man, a warrior and killer in a world of courtiers and silver tongued backstabbers.
