So, a recent thread about advanced moves and their format got me thinking about a World of Warcraft-esque “talent tree” format for advanced moves. Then this got me thinking about a full WoW conversion for DW, which I’m tentatively calling “Warcraft World”. So, I’m posting my early thoughts about it, and I’d love some feedback, advice, “I’ve already done that!”s, or anything else.

Yup I got about three classes done before I got distracted by playing.
Josh Mannon are they on G+? I’d love to see them.
They are back in my feed but not tagged any special way.
I took the four main things that each class was known for and made three moves about each.
Can you elaborate? I’m not quite sure I understand…
Ah, I see now. Cool.
I’m a big fan of “talent tree” formats in that they force, reward, and impose consequences for decisions. The danger is that they can easily become overly mechanical, especially for a system as carefully refined as DW.
I like where your brainstorming seems to be going. You and Josh Mannon are doing some cool stuff with the WoW concepts.
On the other hand, WoW stole the latter half of my twenties so I should probably stay right the hell away from this 😉
