I am the staff sponsor of the RPG club at the high school where I work and we have started the new school year with a Dungeon World game. I used to run a remixed microlite20 game that was a great deal of fun but since Dungeon World stole my heart we decided to try a “real” game. In a one hour session we manage to make characters explore a dungeon and kill some monsters. Dungeon World runs like a charm and teaching it to new players is fun and exciting. The love of Dungeon World is spreading like wild fire….

Just curious… How much prior RPG experience do your players have?
I run the rpg club at the high school I teach at as well. The students generally run their own thing, but I run a special game night every couple of months. It’s very fun.
Today I had 3 complete newbies and 5 that have been in my club since last school year. I like introducing the newbies because we have such a fun group its a great introduction to the hobby and community. I really want to have more than an hour long session but we have time issues.
