Just out of perverse curiosity, let’s say I had a clear idea on how to do an interesting DW version of each of these settings:

– Al Qadim

– Oriental Adventures

– Ravenloft

– Spelljammer

Which one would you be most interested in?

  1. Al Qadim or better a “serious” fantasy setting ispired by persian, arab or generic near east (yes, its near for me its just a 2 hour flight from here ^^.

If you are going to talk whit Gregor Vuga I really would like to eavesdrop. 😛

  2. I trust you and I’m a fan of your Adventure in Dungeon Planet! ^^

I just want to highlight the problematic issue of settings ispired by real life culture far from Canada.

  3. Spelljammer.

Ramming a mind flayer galleon and then leaping aboard and punching them in their ugly tentacled faces is incomparable fun.

Frying big gravid end-stage Neogi with fireballs is pretty good too.

  4. For me it is all about the mythology of hungry gods, monsters that are terrifying, and days and nights that are just as deadly as the monsters. I want to be jumping between rooftops, fighting with poisoned blades, and flying on carpets.

  5. I like my games to be about stories and that setting to me was particularly rich for stories. I ran a long campaign set in Al Qadim which was one of my favorite campaigns…
