I wonder how a party comprised solely of wizards would fare? If I wasn’t so shy about running in English, I’d propose such a game for  #wizardweek : say level 3 characters, to allow for variety with multi-classing and compendium classes.

Of course, if somebody was into running such a game, I’d be happy to play 😉

  1. It would be a different game. Way more focused on gathering information and tricking stuff. On high levels you can just throw uber-powerfull spells at anything. It could work but is a different experience in my mind.

  2. Different, yet the same. The thing I loved about Ad&d is that you could always adapt to whatever characters were played. We played everything from only fighter types to mostly spellcasters or rogues. The session would be different, but it was still D&D.

  3. I meant wizards, as in the base class. But I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to have a character who multiclassed in spellcasting from another class. He could be the ‘little brother’ of the lot 🙂
