Silly and slightly meta cosmology idea:
Each item on the Agenda list was one of the Titans, slain so their corpses could make the foundations of the world.
Each item on the Principles list is one of the Gods, whose will is paramount. So you have gods like “Seeker of Endless Horizons” (draw maps like crazy, but leave blanks) and “Keeper of the Forbidden Names” (Never speak the name of your moves) and so on.
Each move is a class of Angel, who implement the will of the Gods in the mortal world. So you have Bloody-handed Angels of Slaughter (deal damage) and Cold-hearted Angels of Isolation (separate them) and so on.
Interesting…I did a thing a while back where the idea was that each class was a recurring archetype/idea, basically each player being “chosen” by said archetypes. I think that would slot pretty nicely into your setup there.
I can dig it.
I like that. Don’t think I’ll use it. Doesn’t leave enough blanks I think. Now if I asked a player for the name of a titan.
Well, I think the blanks are in your interpretation of the gods and such. Like “Address the characters, not the players”. Mysterious guardian of the fourth wall, who by necessity keeps his portfolio a secret from all, so he’s the god that NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HE IS THE GOD OF. But maybe also a role as the messenger of the other gods (because ‘address’)? So a sort of Nyarlothotep vibe? And that’s just off the top of my head. Maybe somebody else might run with it a different way?
I like it!
Are your demons based off of “GM Moves”? Hah!
