Does anyone have a template for making DW character sheets usable by non-graphic-designers?

Does anyone have a template for making DW character sheets usable by non-graphic-designers?

Does anyone have a template for making DW character sheets usable by non-graphic-designers? I found the Inkscape one, but it’s giving me fits. Something that works in a normal word processor would be best, or an XML file + a transformation.

Alternatively, does anyone have the Dungeon Planet classes already made into usable character sheets?

  1. Someone has provided Excel versions of the sheets and a blank one – not at home at the moment so will post links if someone doesn’t beat me to the punch

  2. Brennen Reece Thanks so much! I could still use blank sheets, as I’d like to use the Necromancer and Warrior from Grim Portents as well (of course, if someone has those already done, when I’m golden.)

  3. Give me an email address or email me through my profile and I’ll send you some shortcut files.

My process is like this: I import a DW character sheet into Photoshop, then I get rid of all the text, so it’s just the black artwork stuff. Then I save that as a jpg. Some pieces I save as individual jpgs. Then in Word, I import them and place them on the page.

Then I create text boxes where I want text to go. I put white text on top of the black spaces and black text on top of the white spaces. It is kind of labour-intensive to do it the first time, and then after that I just use a previous sheet and modify it.

The DnPl sheets are a bit more primitive, and I actually used little jpgs that are half-black and half-white to make the slanting edges of the black title bars, which I think is a thing you can just make them do in Word 2007!
