That’s a lovely move and sore missed from the DW druid. Makes an interesting option for players less interested in the shapechanging side of the class. ‘Pictures of Power’ is a very evocative move too.
A lot of the “pack animals” have Summon the pack or Summon the herd as a move option.
How does this CC and these moves affect moves like that?
Well, when doing that you don’t have to pay natures price – that is given that the kind of animals are nearby.
Is this sufficient Eric Lochstampfor?
Ummm….maybe my question was murky.
The thing I’m unclear on is if you use this move to summon a bunch of wolves, then turn into a wolf and use summon the pack to summon more wolves? Because is it stands it seems that’s what you can do.
I’m just not sure but to me it seems as though just turning into a wolf gives you the “Exclusive Summon” ability or any pack animal for that matter. So why would I want to spend advanced moves on it?
I do dig the Pictures of Power but think it should be expanded to be able to work on any totem or painting or representation. You can have foxes leaping out of paintings in teh Lord’s manor house or oxen jumping off cave walls, which is just awesome.
When you summon the pack but the pack is already there you probably wasted your hold? All the wolves in the area are already there.
Not sure on how to deal with those animal moves…
