What would Dungeon World have been like back in 1979? Well, that would be John Harper’s World of Dungeons, now available to everyone!

OMG, someone get activate the TARDIS!
Is it really only three pages?
Ye gods when do we PLAY?
Yep. It’s not a stand-alone thing so much as a super light version of DW for folks that already know some of the GMing stuff there.
World of Dungeons is the best. I am old skool that way, sorry Sage LaTorra
I really wish I was able to design as simply and wonderfully made stuff as World of Dungeons.
Me too!
It is making me rather misty and nostalgic. Character creation scores are rather brilliant.
That’s about the best rolling for chargen stats I’ve seen since … well, probably ever. I may steal it for my next dw game.
Yeah I sense if I GM DW it’s going to be Dungeon World of Dungeons style
By the way, anyone want to +Hangout a game of WoD
Ran it last night. Super fun! Even better when you spice it up with a few custom moves (rulings!) based on the broader DW/AW engine. And, yeah, having the GM move list from DW helps things not feel too repetitive when your brain starts to get tired.
Hmm I may just do this for the PbP I am pondering, hmm
