DungeonWorld shoes that I made! (Okay, only the right shoe is DW, but whatever!)

So I have decided to combine my love of art and my love of gaming in a relatively uncommon way: gamer shoes! The left foot is D&D and the right foot is DungeonWorld. On the tongues is a map (it actually makes one map if you put them side by side).
So awesome.
That’s pretty keen.
I’ve wanted to paint some shoes for a while…now I’m thinking I may need to make a pair of DW stilettos.
Sage LaTorra Thanks! It was a fun project this morning.
Rowan Cota That would be really cool. If you do, please post them up here; I’d love to see them.
Awesome work!
Whoa best DW merch ever?
I’m seriously considering making myself a similar pair as con shoes.
Adam Koebel Thank you! I may just have to buy another pair so I can have a pure DW pair of shoes.
How’d you go about doing this?
I bought a pair of Converse and some paint markers (red, lt. blue, and black) did a sketch or two of what I wanted on there, and just free handed it. I knew I wanted a char. sheet on one shoe, so I used the first DW character I ever played, at a game Adam Koebel ran at GenCon.
Giovanni Lanza that game was so awesome. Poor crystal heart.
Yeah, I remember it fondly. Looking forward to playing with you or perhaps Sage LaTorra this year.
I’ll be there this year!
Awesome! Can’t wait to see you there!
“I’m running Dungeon World after work.”
Oh, also Sage LaTorra if you do plan on making these shoes, start searching early. It’s really hard to find white Converse without ordering from their site. It took a whole day of looking in Chicago to find them. (And trust me, you don’t want to order them from the site, I did it with my Dr. Who shoes; it cost $20 extra and took weeks to get to my house)
Giovanni Lanza you have wear those to all future sessions of our game 😉
GM Rondor will do haha!
I work in a Nike/Converse “museum,” and these are the coolest Converses I’ve seen this week.
Parker Emerson Really? Thank you!
Those are just too cool. Awesome!!!
Giovanni Lanza: For realsies.
