1. The Red Book was the earlier, pre-Kickstarter one, yes? I believe I had that too. The new edition is the full one. It’s sort of like the Red Box set vs. full-blown AD&D…sorta.

   As far as I know, that is.

2. Yes you are missing the full game. I think you can buy the book now.

7. The print version is SO PRETTY. Hardcover especially–I grabbed one early on from the FLGS that had it in–haven’t regretted it.

8. The red book isn’t a bad game; in fact, there are things that I miss about it. Overall, I like the current game better though. The softcover is worth it.

9. Just went to IPR and ordered the combo. I’m guessing I’ll be checking out the PDF pretty soon. Just in time for tommorow night’s Hangout game.

11. Do you know how to get a copy (pdf or paper) of the red book ?

    I would like very much to compare the differences.

13. brian meredith it is? what do you search for to find it, cuz I’m not able to find it.

14. I did a search for it as well with no luck. I know it was there at one time because I purchased it. Not sure where you’d be able to get it now. Is it legal for me to give you my copy now that I’ve purchased the new, big, fancy, version?

15. brian meredith depends on how the book’s licensed.  I’ve got the current version in digital and physical formats, but am curious to see what the beta looked like.
