A STARSHIP LIT ONLY BY FIRE

“On starry shores black waves do break, and dark and hungry creatures there do landfall make.”

A doomed continent. Adrift amidst an inky black sea. Lost men bound to new gods face terrible beasts from beyond The Great Black Sea with naught but sharp bronze and courage.

I’m working on building the backbone of a setting to run a Dungeon World campaign in. It’s basically bronze age civilization on a long ago wrecked colony ship floating through space. It’s populated with various aliens and mutants and ancient robots, etc. The “surface” of the ship is a giant ecosphere and below that is a tangled maze of tunnels and corridors, many of which are now sealed or blocked off.

  1. To the south dwell the Grey Men, who are tall and long of arm.  Though they carry spears and shields of bronze and many speak the common tongue they are from distant and foreign lands.  In great round ships their ancestors came but they wrecked upon our treacherous shores.
