I know monsters are “any living (or unread) thing that stands in the characters’ way”, and that they are intended to be “ammunition of the danger you’re presenting”, but can there be examples of monsters that are the exception to this? “Non-evil” monsters so to speak (yes I know monsters don’t have alignments)? Or do they cease to be monsters (and are just creatures) if they aren’t there to support thinking dangerous?

Has anyone done orc or half-orc as races?

My girlfriend Julia Weatherseed is playing a game on her iPhone where she trains dragons. I’m thinking new monsters, compendium class.

In the vein of the “Keep Calm and…” phenomenon, I want a “Keep Calm – What Do You Do?” t-shirt.

My first crack at monster cards. Nothing fancy. I ultimately decided on 3×5 index cards because 4×6 were too big, and second because I could fit four 3×5 cards on one 8.5×11 sheet whereas I could only fit two 4×6 cards on one sheet.

Is it outside the realm of possibility that a magic item could grant a temporary bonus to a stat? Say, a Plus One to Strength, as in our old friends the Gauntlets of Ogre Power? Or is it more fitting for said gauntlets to provide a cool move or other ability that isn’t just a stat bump?

If someone were to put the Monsters onto index cards, a publishable “Monster Deck” if you will, what would the preferable card size be? 3×5? 4×6? Description on one side, mechanics and moves on the other?
