So going through my notes I found this. Can’t remember if I made it up or stole and modified it but here it is.
Ring of Escape
When you are in danger and have to get out NOW! roll+Int
On a 10+ choose 3, on 7-9 choose 2, on a 6- choose 1 but. . .
You leave the danger behind.
You arrive someplace safe.
You bring the ring with you.
You bring your allies with you.
So one can hypothetically arrive at a safe place, but not leave the danger behind. Huh.
“You appear in an idyllic elven glade, and the monster from which you fled begins biting the heads off elven children”
That’s incredibly similar to our thief’s teleport bracelet!
When you teleport to a different location using the bracelet, roll+int.
On a 10+, choose two and refine the details. On a 7-9, you choose one and then the gm chooses a different one.
– you arrive right in that spot
– you bring something with you
– you leave something behind
Nice, what is the thief’s bracelet from? And please don’t say the core book or I will feel really dumb.
Nice item, Casy. I may borrow this.
Casey McKenzie well I guess it’s from me! And when I say thief’s, I mean it was actually property of my campaign’s thief! He had more gadgets than the artificer…
