Okay, what’s going on? I went to IPR to order a print on demand copy of Dungeon World and the site informs me that the product is sold out. How can a POD product be sold out?

It’s not POD. That’s how.
(Also, there’s a third printing in progress now, and it’ll be ready very soon!)
Thanks, Adam. I was led to believe from previous posts that it was a POD product. Looking forward to getting a hard copy.
Those previous posts MISLED YOU, SIR. We know it’s a hassle that it isn’t just click-print-get but when you have the sweet book in your hands, you’ll understand why.
It’s a well-made book. Holds up to table use.
Agreed, the book is totally standing up to punishment and abuse at the table. Works as a step stool, bad player behavior deterrent, fly swatter, door stop…. All this and likely you’ll still be able to play to find out afterwards.
Dorian Knight of this iteration? This version of the text? Literally never.
That was a one-time deal for KS backers above a certain threshold.
Adam Koebel, when you say “this version” are you implying that a newer version is forthcoming? #DungeonWorldSecondEdition.
#PoweredByTheApocalypseEditionWars incoming?
#DungeonWorldNext #OldSchoolDungeonWorld
And with the slightest slip, Adam unleashed the maelstrom of inquisition.
Damn. How can I buy DW now if there is, indeed, a DW2 coming? Fresh Kickstarter? Let’s go, Adam Koebel and Sage LaTorra. Shut up and take my money.
Isn’t the current Dungeon World already kind of a version 2?
Stephanie Bryant TRUTH.
