^ What could make more sense than moving the tavern to the publisher’s official forums?
Answer: Importing the G+ export.
I really wish we could do both of these things.
Matt Horam Jeremy Strandberg is working hard on doing that to a WP setup now.
It’s true!
I know! I should’ve said, specifically:
“If only the glorious hard work by Jeremy Strandberg could somehow migrate the tavern archives to the stealth tavern which BWHQ announced/released in the last 24hrs!”
…but I had neither time nor hope to spell that dream out. The chances of their forum playing nicely with any existing import data/tools/efforts is a negative factor of infinity.
Any chance we could get a pinned post on this community detailing migration / shutdown status, plans, options, etc?
For both current members and others tracking the G+ shutdown and providing resources, that’d be very helpful.

Jeremy Strandberg I just saw an announcement on MeWe that they are developing an importer of the G+ export files. Not sure if it’s any good for the features you’re looking for, but it might be worth checking out.
