Hey guys! I’m really really new to rpg games and I’m trying to learn how to gm. I’ll have some buddies over in 1-2 weeks and I’m trying to find an easy ready adventure so I can learn the basics of the game(I’ve already seen the “I’m on a boat” adventure that it has on the official site). Any ideas?
Hey guys!
Hey guys!
Have you read the Dungeon World book? that’s all you need.
Google “Dungeon World Starters.” You’ll get all of the free adventures you need.
Adding to what R Patrick Neal said, here’s a link to one author with some side instruction on how to use. They have a lot less detail than you’ll find in D&D Modules, which might be a surprise. But it’s tuned to the more free-wheeling style of DW, one connected to the details your friends choose in building their characters and in how they answer your questions.

Thank you all very much !!
I would also strongly recommend listening to the Discern Realities Dungeon World Basics podcasts as well the We Hunt The Keepers actual play podcasts.
Dungeon Starts are very fine (and should there ever be a Dungeon World 2.0 there should be examples of them in the core book), but if you want something which has a bit more guidance, there are also some excellent free Dungeon World adventures which might be a bit more beginner-GM friendly.
The Indigo Galleon is a classic, although unfortunately the original site ( http://www.johnzo.com/indigo-galleon.pdf ) seems to have fallen off the internet. You can find other copies of it elsewhere though, such as fc0ea96b-a-62cb3a1a-s-sites.googlegroups.com – fc0ea96b-a-62cb3a1a-s-sites.googlegroups.com/site/johnaegardcom2/indigo-galleon.pdf
As a new GM, you’ll benefit from the Dungeon World Guide, linked from the official site:
