I would give it 2d6 damage and a couple of tags: near, far, the reload, ammo, awkward and piercing tag. 2-handed, 3wt for muskets and the same for pistols (but d8 damage and 1wt). I would also add a “loud” tag.
That sounds good Horst. Do you think they need a chance for backfire or just incorporate that into a 6- roll?
That is a good question. You could roll the die of fate everytime and give it a 1 in 6 chance of misfiring or make a 6- more drastic (in line with the awkward tag) or both.
