I love life. I wish I could live another 500 years, truly. There is so much to do. I donand’t feel bitter or angry or disappointed. If anything, I am very grateful for where I come from. I have absolutely no regrets.
Surround yourself with good people who encourage and love you. There are always ups and downs, no matter how successful you are.
To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Surely part of loving in this way is trying to understand what another person wants us to understand. I may not understand perfectly and I may not agree, but if I love you I should try to know what it is you wish I could know.
Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves, even when we risk disappointing others.
A deep sense of love and belonging is an irreducible need of all people. We are biologically, cognitively, physically, and spiritually wired to love, to be loved, and to belong. When those needs are not met, we donand’t function as we were meant to. We break. We fall apart. We numb. We ache. We hurt others. We get sick.
