What are everyone’s thoughts on Monster of the Week? I own it, but have never played. It seems less improvisatory than other PbtA games (from a GMing stance), but I might be wrong.
Daniel Jensen, as someone who has had a Spooky heal someone by summoning a tiny demon to hold a wound shut and lap up the blood that leaks out, I’m not sure I can agree. 😉
That sounds amazing, and very much in the spirit of the game! I’m just wondering from a GM standpoint, how much of the mystery is pre-planned, how much is collaborative, how much is improvised, etc.
It is more improvised than Dungeon World, in my experience.
