SZ3 will be available to my patrons tomorrow evening, and then on DriveThru RPG around mid June. I just wanted to give you all a heads up that I listed you in the credits for help with Miasma of Fear. It went through several revisions and the version that made it into the issue was 3.2.2. Many of you helped with that, and a few of you helped with a couple other things in the issue. This is just my way of saying thanks!
Great example of why a print proof is necessary: I misspelled the name of one of my artists, thought I’d changed “Next Issue” to “The Island Prison”, need to slide the last three names on the list up a bit and forgot to underline the link at the bottom.
In my defense, I did that page at 12:17 this morning! LOL
Looks great Brian! I love your work.
Thanks Robert! I released SZ3 to my patrons last night (24 hour ahead of schedule!) and it will be available on DriveThruRPG in a couple weeks for $2.99.
My patrons get some extra content in the form of playthroughs by my players. Not actual play, but the responses my players give to the questions, and the setting (map) that was generated with the One-roll Generator that’s in the issue. I’m laying one out right now, and then we’ll get together Saturday to create an entirely different world based on the exact same questions. The map we build (and thus the adventure it affords) will be different as well, because the generator is designed to create a setting in motion.
A quote from page 26: “[The features and creatures] aren’t there because the characters are coming to encounter them. They’re there pursuing their own goals. Remember; setting in motion!”
The extra content is something I may release elsewhere at some point, but right now it’s for my patrons only.
