Hasn’t been released. May never be.
He released the book to backers, but who knows if he will ever 1) answer any call from us for proper release or 2) include any of the add-ons are promised.
Get Class Warfare, watch a ton of pirate movies, and create one of your own that you can depend on actually using.
I hate to be negative about anything pirate or Dungeon World related, but this misadventure burned a lot of us.
This was a famous Kickstarter burn. To my knowledge it was a con, and went nowhere. There are a few DW Pirate Supplements at drivethrurpg.com – DriveThruRPG.com – The Largest RPG Download Store! or you could DIY with Class Warfare.
Definitely a burn. Scroll through here and look at the pleads for updates…
It’s still has me a bit raw.
Not to mention that all of his contact points on the KS are gone or dead ends. And he doesn’t seem to be interested in answering KS direct messages. It’s a shame really. I was pretty happy with the pdf I got, but the print backers are still empty handed. I don’t think there’s any amount of product-awesomeness that would smooth over how this whole project is being handled.
Chad Stevens Any chance of sharing that PDF for those of us who weren’t able to get it?
While this is a conversation about a pirate game, I do hope you’ll understand if I don’t want to engage or promote piracy in public and under my real name. Hopefully Iain Chantler will come out of the shadows and offer you a chance to make a fair purchase.
From what I’ve heard, he scammed everyone and isn’t selling it. Seems like he’s not interested in making good on his word, so why would you not push the pdf out there for all to see? I do respect your moral compass though.
I’m not getting on any high horse here. Like I said: real name — in public.
lol
It was very disappointing after all the waiting, sadly.
