I think I missed it somewhere, is it explicitly mentioned whether gained hold goes away at the end of the session?

I don’t see it explicitly mentioned either way. I’ve always assumed it goes away.
Yes… unless they want to spend it in RL.
It is not specified in the book. It goes away when it makes sense for it to go away. For example, hold for Defend goes away when you stop standing in defense of the thing you were protecting. The hold for the Thief’s Trap Expert lasts until you are no longer walking through a dangerous area. Hold for the Druid’s Shapeshift move might last until the next session. For example, if the Druid gets two hold and spends one to turn into an eagle to scout for the party as they travel to the next town and the session ends there, the Bard could start the next session in eagle form still with one hold, assuming you pick up the next session with the party still en route .
Robert Finamore I believe you meant druid
I let it stay if it makes sense.
Shaken, Not Stirred Unless the Bard took shapeshift for their multiclass move. Then he could turn into a dove and fly away at the end of his own epic ballad!
Scott Selvidge I quite sure you can’t pick multiclass moves from the Starting Moves…
Shaken, Not Stirred False. They are in fact the only moves you can pick if you choose multiclass dabbler at level 2, since you usually need to treat yourself as a level lower.

Shaken, Not Stirred – thanks, I fixed it.
Now that we got that straightned out, I ended up including all the points I +1’d in the hack I’m working on.
