It’s a GMless solution to my d20 non-problem, intended to be simpler than Mythic.

  1. Hey, this looks interesting. (Although check a typo for the second move – the numbers don’t cover the full range.)

How does it work, though? I mean, is it effective/possible to make hard moves and be a fan of the characters when you’re also one of them? How do resolve puzzles/traps? Have you played this? It sounds a bit challenging to me.

  2. Paul Taliesin thanks, fixed. I should add something to the effect of making hard moves against your character as being a fan of the story.

Puzzles/traps need adding, they are primarily the responsibility of the Approach and Secrets moves.

I thought this up on my way to bed, am still in bed.

    Challenging, sure.

  3. Very cool, but I think you need to add in something about resolving 7-9 results. It should probably just be decided by d20 holder’s fiat unless she is the one rolling. Maybe you could also trim (or expand I forget) the GM moves to 10, and on a 6- the person with the d20 rolls: On a 1-2, make GM move 1, 2-3, GM move 2 etc.
