I saw a while ago someone posted a compendium class about entering Death’s service. I had a Ranger die in my campaign, and the deal made from his 8 on LB was that Death would command him to kill someone of Death’s choosing. So far it’s been mechanized through the God Amidst the Wastes advanced move, but i’d like something a little more specific to Death.

I know you are looking for a specific compendium class, but the rogue in one of my games had this happen to him as well. He didn’t gain any special benefits, but death would send a raven to him at odd times and lead him to people in whatever town he was in who he would then kill (they were all cheating death in some way or another). He liked the idea of being death’s hitman and it was all purely narrative. Just putting it out there as some side advice, not trying to say you shouldn’t use a compendium class for your game. 🙂
Scott Selvidge That’s pretty much how it is, but since he leveled up while he was in Death’s Domain, he was looking to take a move that symbolized it, and i wanted something a bit more than being able to cast spells

Sounds like a good place for a compendium class for sure. “When the next rest you take to advance your level is an eternal one, you may choose this move…”. Sounds ominous lol
i wrote one up, it’s pretty great. The Hand of Death. will link later
