Has anyone been using Last Days of Angelkite? I stumbled across it again on the Magpie Games website and am curious how it is/ how folks have been using it.

Haven’t actually played it yet, but it looks cool, as do its sibling products Cold Ruins of Lastlife and the Green Law of Varkith.
It’s fun. The magic items are well implemented and heavily keyed into the setting. The monsters are flavorful. It takes a few sessions to really hit its stride. Wouldn’t play it for a one shot.
It bills itself as a Strange Fiction setting and invokes Clark Ashton Smith and Michael Moorcock- does it deliver? Are there war flamingos and laser lances?
It’s not quite that strange, but it’s significantly more gonzo/grim dark than say, Forgotten Realms.
