  1. They would do just fine. I’ve run it numerous times as a funnel, so slightly-more-durable freebooters should be able to weather the storm of flaming skeletons, as long as they act smart!

Jason Lutes I got to run Servants of the Cinder Queen with a party of 4 starting Freebooters the other night, and it went great!  They lost one character (a Halfling Thief who seemed to have a death wish anyway), who got replaced with a Cleric of Hvitr they rescued in the dungeon.  The 6 INT, 18 STR fighter became the Champion of St. Sigrid, and Thorde Skul’s plans were thwarted.  Everyone had a great time,and I can’t say enough good things about the adventure!
