Love hearing it was a success! This is a style of play many of my friends enjoy. Gives a more visual and tactile experience when exploring, which I think hits on the more instinctive parts of our brain. Makes it more real.
Now I gotta try that.
It would be interesting to see how the players prioritise the threats, which cities, towns and keeps do they aid. I’d imagine there would be some bitter feuds between the towns, the heroes would garner a reputation.
Yeah I’m interested in seeing that as well. There are powerful cities that are going to attack villages, which have oaths with other cities… it’s a WWI type situation.
Maybe there should be a Fallout 2 style reputation system with each steading….
